GeekOut Bristol Meet – November 10th: Literally Literature Gallery

We always love to share how our events went, especially when we had a genuinely excellent time all around. We went to the Old Market Tavern, many of us braving the incredibly unpredictable weather of the day (I would know, I was drenched). We gathered in the pub, bought a pint or two, or ten – and we met plenty of new people and familiar faces alike. Whilst we don’t have too many pictures of this one, the competition was awesome and as ever, we’ll detail what happened at the event. So, check out what happens at one of our GeekOut Bristol Meets.

NaNoWriMo 2018

National Novel Writing Month is back once again, marking the 20th year since the event begun. If you’ve never heard of it, or if you’re only vaguely aware, I think it’s always worth sharing what this is at this time of year, because hey, even if you’re not ready to take the plunge yourself this year, there’s always time to get yourself ready for the next one! In today’s article, I’ll discuss a bit of the history of National Novel Writing Month, what you can do to get involved and also some tips on how to work through your writing bug, without breaking the bank balance.

GeekOut Shrewsbury November ’17

It seemed like such a long wait for it to be all over so soon…

One last gasp for air before we dive into the cold waters of Christmas Cheer, November 30th was GeekOut Shrewsbury, and we have had the biggest turnout since the beginning, way back in… um…
