Kickstarter Highlight – Strongholds and Streaming by Matt Colville

It’s been a while since we’ve done a Kickstarter article, but here’s one that caught me by the eye and the wallet.

I may have mentioned that I am a fan of Matthew Colville, a writer, DM, and YouTuber and the writer of the Critical Role official comic book. I may have mentioned it repeatedly to anyone who will listen. So when I discover he has a Kickstarter in mind I was all kinds of ready to lay my money on the table, it would inevitably be Dungeons & Dragons oriented, and worth the money.

Miniatur Wunderland – The World’s Most Impressive Miniatures Museum

Imagine, if you will, that you’re on a trip to a foreign city in a foreign country. While reading about the city, you discover that there is the world’s largest model railway exhibition. Now, forgive me for saying that I’m not really a model railway kind of guy, and I thought that the exhibition was going to be rubbish. In hindsight, I can happily say that that I was wrong. I was so very wrong.

DMing 101 – What You’ll Need

In DMing 101 I’ll be giving generalized advice on how to run a tabletop role-playing game. The articles will not presume any knowledge, except being able to read. And maybe knowing what dice are. And paper. And a computer. Maybe some other stuff. I’ll also presume that you can remember that DM means Dungeon Master. Some people call it a Game Master or GM, but I don’t. Suck it up.

There are a few quick start guides on how to DM out there, but DMing 101 will offer a fairly easy set of tips that a novice can follow to make his/her games something truly memorable.
