Discord Competition – Free Game Codes!
This year, we’ve been looking after our Discord channel quite heavily – From starting to create a bot for the server (which is still a WIP), to racking up over 100 members, we’ve achieved a lot in a short space of time. If you’re a fan of our channel, or if you’re still unsure as to what the heck this Discord malarky is all about, then read on and join the Discord Channel to be in with a chance of winning five Steam Keys of your choice from our list of games. Interested? Read on, friends!
The Discord channel has been around for a while and we’ve held meetup nights on there, all of which have been received well. People have asked when they are coming back, which is a great experience! We’ve held 7 video game nights over on Meetup and Facebook, which have been excellent, with many different games, including Team Fortress 2, Brawlhalla, Quiplash, Pretend You’re Xyzzy and many others. We’ve found some great games on Steam, as well as some absolutely appalling games.
I said on our Discord Channel quite a while back, that if we hit 100 users, we’d run a free competition to win some game keys. Of course, I’m a man of my word, although it’s taken me longer than anticipated to come up with a suitable competition. Nevertheless, I’ve worked through the kinks and made us a competition fitting for our Discord fans. If you’d like to get involved, simply join our Discord Channel!
The bot has been changed, somewhat, so it has only one command – ‘!gordon competition’. Join in the server, type ‘!gordon competition’ and be in with a chance for winning the 5 games. Competition winner will be selected by Gordon Bot on Sunday 26th at midday, so if you stick around, the bot will ‘@’ the winner and let everyone know who is the winner of the competition. Sounds good? Then get to the server right away! If this sounds good to you, let me know if we should try this style of competition again! It’s all highly experimental. Does this sound interesting? Then let us know in the comments below, or over on Facebook or Twitter.
