Warner Bros Studios Tour – Harry Potter

Recently, as an early Christmas present, I was taken to the amazing Warner Bros Studios Tour which was all about The Making of Harry Potter. From the moment we walked in, all the way to retrieving our paperback guide at the end, it was a joyous event which I can only recommend to everyone who has ever enjoyed anything to do with the films. But, of course – We didn’t just go there. We took pictures to share with all of you!

When we first got there, we immediately noticed the massive chess pieces standing outside. As we went in, there were flying cars, pictures of the cast and more. This was just for the entrance! Even better: Free parking for anyone who drives down. This was great, as we drove all the way from Gloucester for this. After you’re through the barriers, you’re made to watch a quick film, before you start your tour through the great hall and into the main event itself. Rather than talk too much about the event, I figured you’d probably be more interested in the pictures of the event.

If you have some interest in how the special effects were done; or how real some of the things were, then this is definitely the event for you. Go and check out the official website and get yourself down there as soon as you can! In the mean time, leave us a comment below, or over on Facebook, Twitter or Reddit. Have you gone to one of these events? Have you been considering going to it? Let us know what you think!

P.S: If you go there, get yourself a Butterbeer Ice Cream with a Wafer cone. It’s so damn good and they give you a lot of it. Amazing value!

  1. You are the second blogger in as many days to praise the merits of Butterbeer ice cream. Great pics by the way. Looks very cool and this is coming from someone who has never watched the Harry Potter films.

    • I took over 300 pictures. This is the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Honestly, what a day!
